Beau Designs has been doing business since 1999 creating websites for artists, art galleries, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. The name "Beau Designs" comes from the French word "beau" (pronounced "bow") which means beautiful.
The website developer, Christi McGinley, comes from a creative environment including music, dance and visual arts. The visual artists in her family work with oil paint, graphite, watercolor, pen and ink and more.

Christi's technology career began with computer programming on large mainframe computer systems, gradually moving into project management and management consulting. She still does project management consulting on the side but prefers to work in the creative world of website design.
