Natural Resource
Stewardship
Randy Scott has made significant contributions to environmental policy
here in Washington. He worked for a cleaner Puget Sound, helped
write our Landmark "Forest and Fish" law, and pushed for clean
water for fish and people.
As State Representative, he'll continue fighting for responsible environmental
stewardship.
Washington State
- A Good Employer?
For too long politicians have balanced the budget on the backs of our
public employees. Washington needs to set an example to other employers. We
must support our employees by having wages and benefits that keep up
with inflation and empower people through support that provides pride
and honor in public service.
As State Representative, he'll work to make Washington State a good
employer.
Partnerships and
Cooperation
Randy Scott will work to create more partnerships and
cooperation between governments. State government can be a better
partner in helping to address the unique infrastructure needs that
we have as host to our state capitol. At the same time, we should
encourage creative cooperation between local governments to identify
problems, share in costs, and reduce duplication.
As State Representative, he'll bring over 30 years of experience to
help build these partnerships and push for cooperation in government. |
Legislative Priorities
- Creating
and protecting jobs – the highest priority
today.
- Beating
back Eyman initiatives by showing that state government
has the ability to take actions that solve problems.
- Restoring public confidence
in government – public
service is a admirable calling and public servants
should be proud of the work they do.
- Protecting environment, especially water – we
need clean, cold water for people and fish – it’s
good for the environment and the economy.
- Affirm
a state commitment for developing and maintaining affordable
housing in Washington State.
