We are a diverse group of people from the Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater
community who are concerned about how the U.S. is handling (or
not handling) the crisis and ongoing conflict between Palestine
and Israel.
Our Support
We are an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization and are always
looking for motivated people to help us educate, others in our
community to be better citizens of the world. Your contributions
of time, money and knowledge area extremely helpful and urgently
needed.
Our Principles
- We stand in protest of the ongoing Israeli attack on Palestinians
- We stand in opposition of U.S. financial and political backing
of Israel's military campaign
- We support Palestinians' right for self-determination and
the establishment of a Palestinian state
- We call for an end to Israel's occupation of the West Bank
and Gaza Strip
- We call for the resumption of negotiations aimed at addressing
the root causes of the conflict and reaching a just and lasting
solution, which would guarantee peace and security for both
Palestinians and and Israelis.
Our Activities
In addition to being a diverse group of people, we also have
a diverse number of activities we support and coordinate throughtout
the community. Some of these activities include,
- pamphleting at community events,
- staffing a table at the Olympia Farmer's Market every Saturday,
- sponsoring films about the Middle East conflict at local theatres,
- non-violent protests,
- and much more.
