Career Highlights

For 13 years, Chris has presided over thousands of court cases as Superior Court Commissioner. He is a leader in protecting families and children, and places community safety first. Chris helped develop innovative, cost-effective programs that encourage personal accountability, including Unified Family Court and Family Drug Court. He is the chair of the 2004 Thurston County Domestic Violence Summit. Chris is a faculty member with the State Judicial College and a trainer with the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges. Chris was in private practice in Olympia for 10 years prior to his appointment as Court Commissioner.
